Apart from contributing through his music, Michael Jackson did a lot of Charity by donating and raising millions of dollars through other as well as his own Heal The World Foundation. With a whooping estimated sales of about 350 million and 750 million records, 13 Grammy Awards, 17 number one singles, Michael Jackson was credited as "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time" in the Guinness World Records. His Popular dance move Moonwalk is imitated by a lot of entertainers everday but can none match his style and perfection.
Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009, at his rented mansion at 100 North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills district of Los Angeles. This news spread a rage of sadness across the world and his memorial was held on July 7, 2009, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, followed by a private family service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park's Hall of Liberty. Jackson's casket was present during the memorial and the unofficial reports claimed a worldwide audience as high as one billion people which was way much higher than Princess Diana's funeral.
Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Mariah Carey, John Mayer, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Jermaine Jackson, and Shaheen Jafarghol were the top performers in the event.
Jackson was buried on September 3, 2009 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
